One of the older models of cars worthy to mention here is the Oldsmobile prevalent in the market in the 20th century. This car was generated on a large scale in the area of Detroit Michigan. Initially it had some financial problems and soon it was bought by General Motors. This Oldsmobile was recognized for its curved dash. Curved Dash was the foremost automobile to be brought together in an assembly line. Its invention was mistakenly attributed to Henry Ford. The industry had an unfortunate fire, which destroyed a number of models ready to use. However, a Curved Dash vehicle was saved by the employees. The Oldsmobile turned to be celebrated for its stylish lines and its curves.
Gradual development of Ford
In the earlier part of 20th century, Ford Motor Company was released. The most prominent automobile for the Ford Motor industry was Model T Ford. In their first year, they distributed more than 10,000 models and by the year of 1912, an electric starter was released that removed the hand crank system. It was a marvelous achievement.
