Bugatti is probably the most famous French car brand as it arguably designed the world’s fastest car, the Bugatti Veyron Sports. Bugatti was founded by Ettore Bugatti and during World War, they manufactured war vehicles for the army. The company became dormant for decades after the son of Ettore Bugatti, Jean Bugatti faced a fatal accident while testing a race car designed by his own company. The incident took place in 1939 and later the company came back in 1998 with some very fast cars and excellent designs. During the 1930s Bugatti was one of the most prominent brands that manufactured fast cars which won several races worldwide and the brand image grew quickly.
French brands like Citroen, Renault, Peugeot, Alpine and Bugatti have shown phenomenal results in the car manufacturing industry. They market their car in different countries and some of the brands have manufacturing and assembling units in other countries too.
