How much horsepower can a 904 transmission handle?
A friend of mine has a 904 behind a 625 HP 340 in his race car, seems to do fine. It is however built beyond stock specs. For the 360 it should be fine, unless you plan on racing it, using a trans brake etc, I would run with it.
Are 5.2 and 5.9 transmission the same?
There not interchangeable. Other then that,it’s the same. Ask for the build sheet for the 5.2 and the 5.9 then you’ll know the difference.
